BLARE (Part 1) must be read prior to reading BLAI2E. This book has graphic scenes and is definitely intended for 18+ years of age.Storyline – Wow. Let me just say that the plot was good! I never expected author Anita Gray to go in the direction that she did! At the beginning of the book we see that Blaire is captured, sold and drugged. The reader doesn’t immediately find out exactly what happened. Grey leaves tidbits of what transpired to Blaire and Charlie throughout the story. I couldn’t read the book fast enough to figure out how Blaire and Charlie were separated! LolThere’s love, lust, betrayals and so much angst in this story! I noticed that one reader said that this book ended on a cliffhanger – I feel it did not. It may not have ended the way that reader wanted it to end, but it was not a cliffhanger. Another reader commented on the poor grammar but the protagonists’ grammar was basically the same as in book 1. That’s just how they spoke - whether right or wrong - their vocabulary help define the character of each person in this book.Character Development – As you just read the character development was good. I felt it was actually better than book 1. I actually felt that there was more consistency and better descriptions in book 2 than in book 1. Without giving anything away let me just say that the ending is epic and totally surprising!
