I checked out most of the books from the library as hardcopies 3 weeks ago so I couldn't review them here. Since this book was an e-book that I could read on Kindle, I can review the series on Amazon even though I didn't buy it. With that said . . .Top notch. I have loved every bit of every story. The writing is superb. The action is blood pressure raising. The romance is sweet, sexy, hot.The paranormal werewolves make it all chef's kiss. Even better is the introduction of other paranormal beings beginning with Wolf Instinct, Book 9.There are more single werewolves left and I'm looking forward to the rest.Looking at the preview for the next book, Connor and Kat, the date Connor went on that turned out spectularly bad is now hilarious. I love that cat.Now I'm moving on to STAT with Wolf Under Fire. I'm excited to see it covers the alpha Jake Huang that was introduced in Book 9, where he took responsibility for the beta twins Chloe and Zoe.Every book in this series is different. The bad guys are different. And though they are connected, they are standalone. The author does an excellent job of putting in just enough back story so you won't feel lost. There was only one issue I had with this e-book - there was no prologue in it. So we missed Trey's trauma scene that turned his werewolf gene on.(By the way, nice touch making the werewolf a gene issue, like the real disorder).
