With the genre of bully romance books being so big right now it's hard to find that next great book that is worth reading and investing your time in. I mean if I'm being honest they are just popping up left and right. And then there is that ah hah moment when you stumbled across a new author who really took this genre and owned it. This book was really a gem. Seriously if I could give it more stars I would. And as a mom who has to carve out time to read I'm glad this book was worth me investing my time in it. And at $.99 (at the time of this review) that's a steal. Ok on to the good part.Ugh I so disliked Clint so much at first that I wanted to throw my kindle or climb thru it and smack him around. He deserved it. But as you keep reading and get thru the many different layers of this book and these characters you start to understand why he is the way he is and his character development was well progressed thru the book. I hated him, I loved him, and now I just need more.Rae was a heroine that didn't take the bullying lying down. She was a strong female lead who you would want your daughters to be like. She was written complex and again with many different layers. Don't get me wrong I wanted to smack her up a time or two as well. But with any great book that's what you want to feel.And that ending. Girl I will be stalking (the kind where the police aren't involved) lol the authors page for her to say it's been published.Non RHCliffhangerBully Romance
