Mia Kayla has a way with words! She can weave a story that will draw you in and keep you entranced from the first page to the last. I don’t think that she intended to write about all three of the Brisken brothers or she would have started with this book. This is the book that concentrates on the oldest, most confident, most tragic brother, Charles.She also has a way of picking the most attractive covers! This one is beyond beautiful! The back of the bride with her hair done is spectacular. This author knows marketing! I was originally drawn to my very first Mia Kayla book because of its sensual cover, Boss I Want to Hate. And, I remember laughing through the whole book! But this book is more serious.Back to the storyline…Charles is raising his two adorable daughters with the help of his younger brothers, Brad and Mason, after his wife, Natalie, died giving birth to their second daughter. With the help of their nanny, the three men are all loving fathers but find themselves in a conundrum when Patty decides to leave to take care of her mother. She suggests her mother’s caregiver come to the Briskens’ rescue and become the girls’ replacement nanny.But there are stipulations. No background checks and her salary is to be paid in cash only. Mason is instantly on guard.Charles, though, is charmed. Becky, the new nanny, has never cared for children before this assignment but her natural goodness appeals to the girls and to their father. Soon, Charles, the man who keeps his dead wife’s beauty products and wedding ring displayed on the master vanity, is seeing someone who could take her place. The mystery of her back story may derail their loves story before it has a chance to happen.This is a more intricate and involved tale than the other two Brisken books. Mia Kayla has out done herself.Now that the Briskens have all been covered, what is she going to write about next, I ask myself. I just know that it will be hilarious, unexpected, and enjoyable as all three Brisken brothers books were.I am and always will be a Mia Kayla junkie!I received this book as a advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review which I have written here.
