Don’t Ditch a Detective is another excellent story in the Strong Family series. Hero Jed immediately falls for Cassie when he thinks he is “helping” her with a known young pickpocket. Cassie walks away from the encounter very confused. She felt a connection with Jed but she didn’t like how tough he was on Will, the little boy she was trying to help.Jed gets another chance with Cassie when he invi-asks his friend Heath, Cassie’s brother, if he can celebrate Christmas with the Strong family.Things start off rocky between the two but Jed isn’t giving up and Cassie is giving in. Only one problem. I Cassie flies all over the world to missions supporting children. Jed’s life is in Park City, Utah as a successful police detective.Jed and Cassie are a great couple. Jed is as sweet and swoony as Cassie’s brothers and Cassie has a heart of gold and steel for a backbone. The supporting characters continue to be fabulous. Especially Austin, who is a hoot! I’m willing to wait 15 years to read his HEA! Can’t wait for Gavin’s story next.
