This a great product. Easy to use and works perfectly to stop a draft or large gap. I bought mine for my front door and it has helped keep my house cool on hot days and warm on the cold days. I would definitely recommend this.So impressed... Didn't see any daylight at all Dog cable goes nicely under it, when I''m not using the cable the sweep goes back in place perfectly I'm a 62 yr old woman and it was really easy to put on the outside of my storm door After cutting it to size, I started at one end and slowly applied it to the door. Because it has some give to it, I could go slowly making sure I wasn't going to have any daylight. Great adhesion and they reach all the way down from our old door to our flat wheelchair-modified threshold. We have double doors so I made sure to line up the perfect factory-cut straight edges in the center, and my slightly wobbly scissored edges on the outsides. I'm hearing less street noise and swiffering less grime already! I used just one tack on each, where the center edges touch, just to be sure they stay stuck down.I realize I have an unusual use case: I have a 1.25 gap in a door going outside, and I this is far from ideal. I am mainly concerned to keep rodents out during the colder months. This strip is advertised for a gap of that size, and size-wise it works. But, I am not convinced that it will keep mice out. From the other reviews and visual appearance I got the impression that the material was somewhat firmer than it is. The rubber is good quality, but it is flexible enough that with a little effort a mouse could work its way in if it tried hard enough.Thank God for this product. I had a snake to crawl under my office door. The same day, I order this door guard, no insects, no noise, and especially no snakes!!!!!
